Psalms 147:9
Rain, grass, beasts, and ravens all depend on God’s provision, while the LORD’s delight is not in military strength but in those who fear him and hope in mercy. The contrast redirects confidence from visible power to covenant trust. Jesus’ teaching on providence provides a later canonical parallel.
Psalm 147 says God gives food to young ravens when they cry, and Job asks who provides the raven’s food. These are the closest Old Testament divine-provision parallels to Jesus’ statement that God feeds ravens.
