The Man among the Tombs Is Restored and Sent Home
In Gentile-region territory, Jesus meets a man living among tombs under destructive spiritual domination. The demons identify themselves as “Legion,” plead not to be sent into the abyss, and enter swine that rush into the lake. The restored man is left clothed, sane, and sitting at Jesus’ feet.
Where this fits in the story: uncleanness clusters around the setting—tombs, demons, swine—yet Jesus’ authority is not contaminated by the environment. The movement is toward restored humanity, community, and witness.
