1Nĩngũtiira maitho makwa ndore irĩma-inĩ: ũteithio wakwa ũngiuma na kũ?

2Ũteithio wakwa uumaga kũrĩ Jehova, o we Mũũmbi wa igũrũ na thĩ.

3We ndangĩreka kũgũrũ gwaku gũtirũke: ũcio mũmenyereri waku ndarĩ hĩndĩ angĩcũnga;

4ti-itherũ, ũcio mũmenyereri wa Isiraeli ndarĩ hĩndĩ angĩcũnga, kana ahĩtwo nĩ toro.

5Jehova nĩwe ũkũmenyagĩrĩra: Jehova nĩwe kĩĩruru gĩaku guoko-inĩ gwaku kwa ũrĩo;

6mũthenya wee ndũngĩringĩka nĩ riũa, kana ũringĩke nĩ mweri ũtukũ.

7Jehova nĩarĩkũgitagĩra kuuma ũũru-inĩ wothe: nĩarĩĩmenyagĩrĩra muoyo waku;

8Jehova nĩarĩkũmenyagĩrĩra ũkiumagara na ũgĩcooka, kuuma rĩu nginya tene na tene.
